Başak Tuncay is a corporate and commercial lawyer with a particular interest in mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and contract law. She has experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including share transfers, restructurings, company formations, and corporate governance.

Başak has been actively involved in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, as well as supporting transaction and compliance processes. She has contributed to compliance projects, particularly in anti–money laundering (AML) and regulatory requirements, gaining hands-on experience in risk assessment and reporting.

She adopts a detail-oriented, solution-driven approach to her work and is committed to delivering practical, effective legal support.

Başak graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Law and also studied at Université Lumière Lyon 2. She completed her high school education at Galatasaray High School. She is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and is fluent in English and French.
