İlayda Güneş is an Of Counsel at Pelister Keki Sarac & Co, practicing exclusively in the field of public policy, compliance, and ethics, with a special focus on antitrust and white-collar irregularities. She graduated from Koc University School of Law and received her Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Following her graduation, she represented a variety of domestic and multinational corporates and financial institutions and worked as an in-house legal counsel and a compliance and corporate governance director for over 11 years.

She has significant experience in assisting clients with internal and government investigations, the design and implementation of compliance programs, ethics policies, and good governance strategies. She also conducts due diligence and risk assessments and provides regular training and workshops for effective corporate compliance and risk mitigation.

On the antitrust front, she represents clients before the Turkish Competition Authority in merger control clearance and individual exemption filings, remedy proposals, as well as immunity and leniency applications, whistleblower claims, and settlement negotiations.

As a lecturer at Bahcesehir University and researcher at the University of Chicago, Ilayda speaks and lectures on public policy and good government reforms; and often publishes on topical issues of policy regulations and ethics. Currently, she is co-authoring a book chapter on constitutional amendments, public policy and civil rights to be published by the New School for Social Research.
